Willman: my goosebump moment was in 2014. I was playing a game called Dark Souls II, a game that was out the same year it was a very fun game and I still love it. I was fighting a boss called The Pursuer for several hours, I was struggling a lot, but I got into the zone and when I beat the boss on that mental state, I got some goosebumps that were incredible.

Stuart: my goosebump moment came when I was invited to visit the Mercy Ship, a floating hospital which sails to Africa every year to save many thousands of lives. People who were born with deformities or any kind of tumors are able to change their lives thanks to the kind people and the donations of thousands of people around the world.

Anna: I guess every person has that moment when they realize that everything you did in the past just makes sense now. Every dark moment, every abusive people, and every trauma – it is a blessing. That is what made you who you are. That is why you are standing right here, where you are. That was my goosebump moment.

The song started so slow so calm but it sounded so nice so I started vibing to it and then the riff came on, the main part of the song I felt massive goosebumps, felt massive hype and started humping really hard to it ever since then I listen to the artist on the daily and I know all of his songs.

Carlos: my goosebump moment came when life showed me a really interesting way out of a slump that I was in. Ladybugs kept showing up randomly, giving me little signs from the universe. I ended up seeing so many beautiful ladybugs, which stand for luck and positivity. After all the signs I ended up becoming a yoga instructor.

Jean Didier: my goosebump moment is a motivational video of Jack Ma. He talks about his history, the difficulties he faced in his life. He failed college and was rejected 10 times from Harvard university. He was rejected 30 times after job application. So if you have some dreams to achieve, keep believing in them and fight for them. Jack Ma fought for his dreams and today, he became the richest man in China.

Nhu: my goosebump moment was when I visited Mauritius back in 2019, before Covid happened. When I went there, I was expecting to see the history, the culture, the mountains, but not the beaches. But when I finally saw one of the beaches, my breath was taken away. The sky was so blue, the golden sand, the pristine water was sparkling under the sunshine.

Nestor: my goosebump moment happened when I was sixteen years old that I discovered literature, universal fiction literature, authors like Herman Hesse, James Joyce, Rimbaud, Arthur Rimbaud, Latin Americans like Julio Cortazar, Gabriel García Márquez it was the big difference in my life.

Darius: my goosebump moment happened five years ago in 2017 when I went back to my village to visit my family. To welcome me back, my grandfather organized a huge campfire. We left all our devices at home: no smartphone, no laptop, and we went into the bush. The fire was lit and there were various activities like storytelling, dances and songs throughout the whole night.

Marielle: my goosebump moment was when I first listened to Bullet For My Valentine’s intro song from their album called “The Poison”. It’s the type of song that when the guitar solo first kicks in, you feel like having super powers.

Miguel: my goosebump moment was when I was still in college and looking for a job to pay my expenses. I was so fortunate to find a job as a chemistry teacher. My main task was to prepare my students for the admissions test for several universities. When I saw my students succeed and enter the admissions, I was so proud.

Javier: my goosebump moment was when at the age of 18 I began my aviation career. On August 12 of 2012, I made my first flight alone, it was a beautiful afternoon.

Gail: my goosebump moment was during the pandemic. I was looking for some interesting tasks to kill my time and so I was traveling to very remote places in Laos. I went to different provinces of Laos and stayed in the villages to experience the culture and tradition. My experience was so satisfying. The villagers were very happy compared with the city folks and they were very content.

John: my goosebump moment was when we were doing our wedding. I am married to a Kenyan, and in their culture, they normally cover the bride completely and then they line her up with other ladies who are also covered up completely. Then the groom is supposed to select and handpick the right wife or his bride, which is what I was supposed to do. It’s very tricky because if you choose the wrong person, you have to pay a fine. Fortunately, I was able to pick her from a group of around six ladies.

Diego: my goosebump moment was a concert from Jack White, the vocalist of what was The White Stripes in the past. You know in a moment where it is so shocking that you just do not know how to react, you just stand still in place, just watching, just living the moment. That’s what a Jack White concert is.

Laura: my goosebump moment is the first time that I tried Baklava. Baklava is a Turkish dessert consisting of filo pastry filled with nuts or pistachios and other spices. It is simply divine.

Cesar: my goosebump moment is the first time that I wrote a song about someone. I was 13 and I was in love with this beautiful girl, but she was about to move to another country and I still wanted to do something for her before she left. When I sang for her, she cried and said “Nobody has ever done something like that for me before.” It was a beautiful moment.

John: my goosebump moment is from this Turkish movie called “Miracle in cell number seven” when Memo finally meets his daughter Ova after everyone helped him escape. This is a very emotional scene.
