Esther: my goosebump moment certainly is the movie “Five feet apart”. A sick young girl meets an equally sick young boy at the hospital. They fall in love with each other, but sadly had to separate because they had an illness that did not permit them to have any physical contact. The boy was being transferred to another hospital. When he stood at the glass window of the girl’s room, taking in his last sight of her, my emotions hit a climax, and I was literally engulfed in goosebumps.

Tara: my goosebump moment is the song “Furr” by Blitzen Trapper. It is a really beautiful song and it tells the story of someone’s life. One day I was sitting on the beach and the song played. It tells such a detailed story and so positive and upbeat. It filled my whole body with goosebumps. It was a pretty incredible experience and now every time I listen to the song, it puts a smile on my face.

Dora: my goosebump moment is from the movie “Howl’s Moving Castle” from Hayao Miyazaki. It’s the scene when Howl wants to make Sophie happy, creating a new color on the castle’s door, leading to a beautiful destination from his childhood. As Sophie steps through it, she becomes so happy that the curse momentarily lifts from her and she carelessly runs through the field. This beautiful scene shows how pure their love is, and how much Howl cares about Sophie.

Armand: my goosebump moment was the match between Liverpool against Barcelona in 2019. That was an unbelievable moment for them! The players really gave all they had. They played well, they scored four goals and came back against Barcelona in the second leg. It was a memorable moment in football, this moment is unforgettable for me. The way they played, the team got engaged in everything, with every ball.

Kobby: my goosebump moment was my time in AIMS-Senegal when we were doing a project from one of our supervisors. My group had a bit of a challenge with the techniques but we were able to put something together. On the day of presentation, we were able to impress the entire audience. I felt so happy that I was able to do something unique for my colleagues to be happy and friends to appreciate.

Mark: my goosebump moment was the first time I walked into “Rumble” and I saw that famous Danish UFC fighter, Nicolas Dalby, was training there. It was the first time that I have gotten to see a real fighter in the industry, it was a very surreal experience because I have seen him on television. It was very inspiring getting to see him in person training at the same gym that I was training in at the time.

Elvis: my goosebump moment is when I experienced the Bon Iver concert in Malmö, 2019. I wasn’t really a fan of him back then, but that night changed my mind. The atmosphere was amazing. You just had to be there. When he started singing with the autotune on and he made a whole song with just using his voice, it was the greatest feeling I ever had in my life, I had goosebumps all over my body.

Abdulwahab: my goosebump moment is the movie “Interstellar” where the hero set out looking for new planets to live on because the earth was no longer a place to live. One planet’s timescale was so slow, that it equaled 25 years on earth. When he got back, he discovered that his children had kept on sending him video messages as they were turning older because they had hope he would return.

Bom: my goosebump moment was when I started my first yoga class five years ago. I happened to get free access to the class and tried my first yoga session ever. After one hour and thirty minutes I felt these goosebumps from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet, and I was hooked on yoga. Five years later, I am a certified yoga teacher and I’m pursuing my dream.

Fernando: my goosebump moment happened when I left my job in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic, which was a very scary thing to do. But I did that because I didn’t really like what I was working on. I wanted to work as an artist and do the things that I actually like spending time working on. I went out on a journey by myself to find what it is I am passionate about, and it took a bit of time, but I did get there.

Alaa: my goosebump moment was when I watched an anime film called “One Piece Gold”. An incredible moment was when the hero, Luffy, was fighting Gild Tesoro who wanted to make his friends as pieces of gold. Tesoro held Luffy’s friend Nami, and threw her away, but Luffy moved fast to save her. After that, Luffy destroyed Tesoro, saving his friends. That moment gave me goosebumps, because that was real friendship.

Mario: my goosebump moment was when I watched the movie “Corpse Bride” as an adult, right after my first big heartbreak. I saw so much of myself in one of the main characters. I got really emotional. One of the things that touched me the most was the ending, when she finally let go, she was able to set herself free. It is one of the biggest life lessons I have ever learned and it was awesome.

Maher: my goosebump moment was when Argentina won the Copa America and Messi lifted the trophy for the first time in his life. It was a special moment because they had waited a long time to win this trophy, it was the first trophy for Messi with the national team. Messi proved that he could get the national team to victory and that he was the best player in the world.

Justyna: my goosebump moment was when I discovered the Lithuanian Community in Chile. I didn’t expect to find Lithuanian ladies who have set up their lives there. There is even a functioning online Lithuanian language and culture school for kids, they are excited to learn about Lithuania. Being so far away, I am not only able to immerse myself into a new life and language, but also not forget my roots!

Sawsan: my goosebump moment was when I first visited Emirgan Park in Istanbul, Turkey. It is one of the largest public parks in the city. The beautiful roses, flowers, sea view, birds, and palaces there made me feel as if I were in real heaven. The smell of roses took me into another world and the way they were arranged in colours, made me feel as if I were in a rainbow.

Min: my goosebump moment was when I visited Gaw Yan Gyi Island. The island has a lot of beautiful costal reefs and stunning beaches, the sunset there is really phenomenal, one of the most beautiful I have seen. The seafood there is really fresh and delicious as well. Whenever I think about this trip, I still get a lot of chills and goosebumps.

Grace: my goosebump moment was when I was invited to the World Youth Forum in Egypt. That was my first flight experience. I had always imagined being on a plane, but it exceeded my expectations. I loved everything about that flight. I have traveled several times after that by plane, but nothing surpasses that experience. I loved it.

Salome: my recent goosebump moment was when I was watching a movie called “Triumph”. I learned so much from that movie because that movie was related to my story at the moment. I have been through a lot of pain and I wonder why I just don’t give up. It’s because I believe I am meant for something greater and that I should be using the same pain to be my tool to succeed, to prove people wrong.
