Valerie: my goosebump moment was when the bikers’ community in Windhoek, Namibia, got together to pray for doctors, nurses and patients at hospitals. These bikers were from all cultures, races and colours. You could see people crying, hugging and even smiling, people had hope again. This is a message for all the world to see. People, go out, be kind, love each other.

Guinea-Taslima-mygoosebumpmoment

Taslima: my goosebump moment was when I saw Sobane beach in Guinea for the first time. It is such a calm and quiet beach.
I slept in a cottage near the sea. I woke up hearing the crashing waves coming from the sea. It was the most magical sound I have ever heard. I bathed in the sea for the first time. We made a campfire on the beach, put loud music and began to dance.

Martin: my goosebump moment was when I spent the summer with my girlfriend and we decided to do more adventurous things. When we were on the beach, we decided to jump off the tallest cliff there. It was very high and she got pretty scared, but we held hands and on the count of three we jumped. And then we did it a few more times because we liked it so much.

Rebecca: my goosebump moment was when worked in a breeding center for endangered species. I was having a really rough day, so I went to hang out with my favourite tiger. He watched me for a minute and came over and just rested his forehead against mine and stared into my eyes. It was the first time in ages that I remember not feeling alone. I felt 100% certain that tigers feel empathy It was unforgettable!

Malawi-Eunice-Malibase

Eunice: my goosebump moment is a movie called “Queen of Katwe”. It is based on a true-life story of a young Ugandan girl called Phiona Mutesi who is coached in chess by Robert Katende. Robert believed in Phiona, he encouraged her. He told her that sometimes where you are is not where you belong, you belong where you believe you belong. That felt very encouraging.

Sudha: my goosebump moment was when I was around 16-17 and I read books by Swett Marden in which was written “You are the creator of your own destiny, you are the driver of this vehicle called life, you can take it to the direction you want. That was life changing, it really transformed my life.

Zambia-Jessica-Mayenda

Jessica: my goosebump moment is the song “Giant Killer” by Pompi. The song came to me in a difficult time in my life, it really lifted my spirits. It talks about the story of David conquering Goliath. We all face different giants, problems in our lives. But if David was able to conquer Goliath, then you can conquer your problems.

Florin: my goosebump moment was when I visited the Cotroceni Palace in Bucharest. It’s a national museum where the royal families used to live, up until the 19th century. What impressed me the most was the different architecture styles of the interior. It’s a masterpiece. It must have been amazing growing up there as a child and to be able to run around and explore the whole palace

Telicia: my goosebump moment was a few years ago when I was in a place called Green Head in western Australia. When I was out there snorkelling, But when I discovered a seal pup. I was just looking into that seal’s big and captivating eyes. I have no idea how long we swam together for because I was just so enthralled in watching this beautiful, graceful creature swim through the water.

Souleymane: my goosebump moment is about my trip to Ghana. Their customs, traditions and way of life are wonderful. I was impressed by what I saw! Ghanaians are warm, friendly, polite and trustworthy, especially towards foreigners. The message behind this is: “The beauty of this life lies in the diversity of its people”. Therefore, understanding each other’s culture, customs, and traditions is a must. The gateway to this is done through “travelling”.

Albania-Johny-falling-star

Johny: my goosebump moment was when I was 15 years old and I was sleeping outside, in nature. I saw a shooting star. It was moving fast towards earth. I was convinced that I actually saw a UFO. I was very excited. I was a little afraid, my toes curled up. It was quite an unforgettable experience.

Adnan: my goosebump moment was when I watched “The Shawshank Redemption”. It’s a very emotional movie in which the main character is accused of crimes he never did and he had to spend the rest of his life in prison. But he never gave up and spent 18 years tunnelling through the wall with only a rock hammer. In the ending scene he managed to escape and felt free for the first time in 20 years. I felt goosebumps in that scene.

Azad: my goosebump moment happened when I watched a video of a street drummer named Gordo. He was on the street with a few buckets and two drumsticks and he beat those buckets like drums. He was so fast and skilled. It showed me that if you have talent, you don’t need any equipment. Your potential will come out automatically.

Syria-Yashar-Mygoosebumpmoments

Yashar: my goosebump moment was back in 2007. I was watching Britain’s Got Talent when suddenly a middle-aged lady appeared on the stage. Everyone made fun of her because she looked very old, and she did not seem to have talent, but the moment she started singing, it was amazing! She took us into another world. It was Susan Boyle on Britain’s Got Talent and the song was “I dreamed a dream”.

Dilmurad: my goosebump experience was while I was watching “Inception” by Christopher Nolan. One thing that really hit me and gave me an unforgettable goosebump moment was the soundtrack of the film, by Hans Zimmer. He is the most outstanding composer in the world, he makes soundtracks so accurately that every song fits the scene so that the viewer is virtually in the film.

Avazkhon: my first ever and one of the most exciting goosebump moments was when I was 12 and my dad, who was a pilot, took me into the pilot cockpit in the plane. This was one of the most amazing views, the sky full of stars, and afterwards, the beautiful sunrise. Since then, I always wanted to become a pilot so I could see views like this every day.

Claudia: my goosebump moment was the first time I saw a cuttlefish changing its ink and color under the water when I scuba dived on Komodo Island, Indonesia. It was a very impressive moment. It happened right in front of my eyes. The cuttlefish thought we were attacking her, so she changed color and the amount of ink inside her, changing color from yellow-white to dark blue-black. It was impressive.

Ville: my goosebump moment was my first time in a Champions League match. A few years ago, it was a group stage game in the Champions League, Dortmund vs Tottenham in Dortmund. I was living in the Netherlands and we drove all the way to Dortmund to see the game. We went in, heard the Champions League music playing, the audience roaring, the stadium packed to the last seat.
