Oscar: my goosebump moment is a scene from the movie “Cool Hand Luke” from 1967 with Paul Newman. He is in prison when he hears his mom has passed away. He takes his banjo and starts playing “Plastic Jesus”. He then starts to cry. It’s a very powerful, raw and honest scene.

Cristina: my goosebump moment is an interview of Muniba Mazari. She became the national ambassador of Pakistan for the United Nations. Because of a car accident she has been in a wheelchair for 12 years. Her speeches are inspiring and full of hope. They will give you Goosebumps.

Youssef: my goosebump moment is Malango’s goal for Raja against Wydad in the Casablanca Derby. The 74th minute Raja was 4-1 behind. Luckily 2 more goals were made and then 1 minute before the end Malango made a goal by a header. It was a legendary moment, a real example of not giving up.

Kirsten: my goosebump moment is when I hear the lyrics of the Bob Dylan song “Boots of Spanish Leather”. This song is special to me because it’s about two people and one of them is leaving and I’ve lived away from my family for six years now so it always makes me think of them. I always listen to this song as my plane takes off and I get Goosebumps every single time.

Ala: my goosebump moment is an emotional inspirational video of the comedian Steve Harvey. In this video, Steve talked about his beginning in comedy and the challenges he faced. This video will definitely change the way you look at things and it will make your day!

Katya: my goosebump moment is not one moment; it’s a lot of emotional moments which I’ve gotten after reading one great book. It is “The Fountainhead” by Russian-American author Ayn Rand. The main hero, Howard Roark, was faced with different dilemmas in his life, but he didn’t lost himself because of it. He could stand up to the voices of the majority.

Mina: my goosebump moment is the scene of Ned Stark’s beheading in “Game of Thrones”. This scene gave you goosebumps because we were all waiting for someone to save Ned Stark, that maybe he could escape somehow. But unfortunately it was not meant to be, and the numbness we all felt was just unexpected. Ned Stark was a good guy, but good guys don’t always live in the real world.

Albert: my goosebump moment was when I took part in performing the 7th Symphony of Anton Bruckner. It is a wonderful piece of classical music, especially the beginning when the violins and strings start to play very softly. Hearing it live as part of the group was mind-blowing.

Nicolas: my goosebump moment was the return of wrestler “Edge” in 2020 to the sport of wrestling after his 9 year absence. It was a real surprise that he suddenly showed up in the ring again. I’m a big fan of wrestling and what I like the most is the crowd’s reaction and their energy. Everybody knows what will happen after only 1 second of music, it’s amazing.

Rajashree: my goosebump moment is the movie “Bohemian Rhapsody”, especially the final Live Aid concert. It was totally amazing. Right before Freddie Mercury reveals to his fellow band members that he has AIDS. In spite of this, the band and Freddie Mercury are in great shape at Live Aid.

Mariam: there are so many songs that give me goosebumps, but my first experience with such a song was “Sign of the times” by Harry Styles. The meaning for me is that even in the worst situation we need to be brave, stop crying and just do our best even at our worst! This song brings back so many memories and makes me feel good.

Nadya: my goosebump moment was when I saw a video about a cat mom who just gave birth to her own kittens but she decided to adopt cute baby ducks. She treated them as they were her own babies. I think all people and humanity can learn from that attitude.

Michael: my goosebump moment was when I saw the determination of two boys from Hounslow who started a Mexican wave with 82,000 fans at a football match. The Mexican wave moved across the stadium, slowly gathering fans and circling back to the boys who were delighted their efforts paid off.

Jan: my goosebump moment was when Andrey Esipenko won the World Championship of chess against Magnus Carlsen and it was just the most dramatic, epic and sophisticated strategy moment. An 18-year-old won from world champion Magnus Carlsen, amazing!

María: my goosebump moment is the song “Ta Smyrneika Tragoudia”, which means “the songs of Izmir” and the song literally tells about the hardships that people had to face there. My family is originally from Izmir and was chased out by the Turkish army. This song gives me Goosebumps and tears in my eyes every time I hear it.

Ayman: my goosebump moment was “The Pharaohs’ Golden Parade” in April 2021. It’s a historic procession of Egypt’s ancient rulers in Cairo, Egypt. The Egyptian mummies were being transferred from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the new National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat. It is awesome to see the Egypt’s history, not only from 50 or 100 years ago, but from 7000 years ago.

Lika: my goosebump moment is the ending scene of the movie “La La Land”, with Emma Stone & Ryan Gosling. The ending scene showed “what if” she would have chosen the life with her ex-boyfriend instead of her current husband. It gives me goosebumps because the scene itself, the cinematography, the music, the dances are well scripted and gave me an emotional rollercoaster ride.

Lauren: my goosebump moment is this amazing opera called “The Magic Flute”. It’s one of Mozart’s master pieces and there’s the solo of “The queen of the night”. The singer is Diana Danbrau and her voice is powerful and passionate. It has made me fall in love with Opera!
